An enthusiast of travel and cultural exploration, Summer has been living in Nuremberg, Germany since late 2015. After growing up in Oregon, she moved to South Carolina and spent over a decade in the sweltering humidity of the southern US before emerging with a degree in European Studies, a Swedish husband named Johan, and comprehensive project management experience with a global sign manufacturing and brand implementation company.
Since settling in the Franconian pocket of Bavaria, Summer has been living the freelance life with her work in luxury travel planning and program management, teaching English as a foreign language, and writing about food and travel. She’s delighted that her experience and interests have led her to Innate Motion’s Life Support team. In her spare time, Summer enjoys cooking, reading, taking long walks with podcasts, and plotting her next adventure somewhere on the globe. Dislikes include unnecessary mayonnaise and being trapped in an office.
